This Sport First Aid Emergency Action qualification course is for the sports coach and covers essential life-saving first aid. It introduces the techniques, skills and decisions that will be needed to manage emergency first aid, illness & injury in the context of sports activities. The skills and knowledge will be taught in a realistic context. The course is highly practical using modern active learning methods.

The trainers/assessors delivering this course are from the Adventure Sports Department at Reaseheath College and have a professional background in sports and he outdoors, in addition to being trained by ITC to provide HSE certified First Aid.

The workshop aims to provide training providers with the necessary knowledge and tools in order to develop and deliver a robust course and help put forward a comprehensive submission when seeking to gain endorsed training status.

The day will cover all areas of delivery, from putting together schemes of work and creating assessment criteria through to navigating your way through submission documentation and the mapping process.
